You Chefed Up is backed by an emerging chef who has always been intrigued by the world of food and of course the joy of eating it, but has really fallen in love with the various ways to prepare and combine different flavors, textures, and pairings. So many times its hard to explore new flavors or foods because we stay in the safe zone of “comfort foods”; familiar flavors you know and love are great there is no denying that. My enjoyment and goal with food is to try to bring a different view or twist to dishes and provide a platform for people to expand their culinary experiences through creative and unique parings of foods and drinks.

As i grow and build this new idea/concept a major focus is to source as locally as possible and make as much as i can from scratch. There are various reasons for this ranging from supporting local farms and business, to working with the freshest and least processed products available. Because if you want a great tasting meal you need to start with the best ingredients available. This also gives the ability to work towards a zero waste kitchen, this means utilizing everything you can to minimalize waste, making as much as possible from scratch to have full control means there will be no unwanted preservatives, or other unwanted fillers.
